Bleecker's NARS Will Open During Fashion Week

Yesterday we speculated about the opening date of the NARS store on Bleecker Street, which—when it launches—will be New York City's very first stand-alone shop from the much-loved make-up brand. Today, we've got our answer: The store will open to the public on Thursday, February 10, the same day Fashion Week kicks off.

François Nars has been searching for a space for his boutique for years, so this opening is as big a deal to the brand as it is to beauty-loving locals. To celebrate, Nars got Interview magazine editorial director Fabien Baron to create the new logo above. Like that lipstick color? It's Jungle Red, one of the first shades NARS ever produced, and it reflects the color scheme inside the boutique. The NARS folks promise more information on their Facebook page as the store debut nears—fingers crossed for some special deals.
