Oh, it's so on. Apple's website now includes the new Grand Central store, slated to open this Friday at 10am. The last time Apple debuted a New York city store was in 2009, when the Lincoln Center location opened on the same morning that H&M launched its Jimmy Choo collaboration. Shoppers only had to wait half an hour for entry that day, and they were treated to free Starbucks hot chocolate and a glimpse of the cast of 30 Rock (minus Liz Lemon.)

Since the Grand Central store is located inside the station, we're expecting a slightly different scene, although it's safe to assume lots of chaos and lots of clapping. Do note the official, commuter-friendly hours: 7am to 9pm during the week, 10am to 7pm on Saturdays, and 11am to 6pm Sundays.
