When we first learned that the Dekalb Market was coming to town, we were under the impression that it was going to be a year-round market, as seemed the general consensus. However, as made evident by a tweet from Tea By Tiffany and the market's website, it will actually be closing for the season on December 31st.
We asked someone from Urban Space (the market is a joint-venture with them), and we were told that yes—the market will be closing on December 31st, and it will reopen in the spring, though they don't have a scheduled reopening date yet. (Tea by Tiffany tweeted they'd be back in April, so presumably, sometime around or before that.) Urban Space also adds that perhaps there was a bit of a mix-up in regards to the whole year-round thing, as it was being called "permanent" due to its seven-day-a-week status.
