Now that all of the major department stores have revealed their holiday windows, it's time to examine them in more detail. For the next couple weeks, we'll be running galleries of key holiday displays across the city. Then, we'll hold a vote to determine the greatest Christmas windows of 2011.
At this point, everybody knows about Gaga's Barneys takeover#8212;even Bill O'Reilly. So this, our seventh and final department store window gallery, is really more of a recap than anything else. You know the drill: No Santa or Rudolph (let alone, like, Jesus), just the Lady and her motorcycle drenched in the stark light of Barneys glamorous new makeover. It's a far cry from the head of Mario Batali, no?
