For the past 25 years, men's clothing store Rothman's has lived at 200 Park Avenue South in Union Square, which is currently the space next to Sephora. Pretty soon, they'll be trading it in for a larger spot just one block north, which according to a press release, would make it "one of the largest menswear stores built in New York City in decades." Pretty impressive, given the quick turnaround rate for boutiques in nearby neighborhoods (see: The Lower East Side).
In the meantime, they're having a giant moving sale. Starting January 6th, suits, sportcoats, trousers, jeans, outerwear, shirts, and ties will be 40% to 70% off. Some of the brands included are Canali, Hugo Boss, Hickey Freeman, and Ted Baker, with denim from AG, 7, Earnest Sewn and more—all just in time for after-Christmas shopping.
