Last week, Lowe's got in trouble for pulling its ads from the TLC show All-American Muslim. Over the weekend, New York City Councilmember Brad Lander blasted the chain in an email to his constituents, accusing Lowe's of caving to religious intolerance and urging Brooklynites to shop elsewhere. He even listed ten local hardware stores that make great Lowe's alternatives, giving Mazzone's in Carroll Gardens a special shout-out. [FIPS]
