A new Tucker boutique was planned for the West Village in the spring of 2012, but this summer, there was a fire in the design studio, so founder Gaby Basora had to find a new location. According to a press release, she "spent the subsequent weeks scouring the city on her bike," and ended up finding one at 355 West Broadway.

The store is now officially open, and the space also houses the new Tucker design studio. Large front windows let in an abundance of natural light, and there's antique furniture covered in fabric remnants of original Tucker printed silks. As you may recall, Tucker previously had a store on the LES that was a little too tiny for Basora's liking, which is why we think the spacious West Broadway is a better fit for all that print.

Update: A Tucker rep tells us that the store on the LES was actually just a pop-up, thus the West Broadway location marks the brand's first official boutique.
