Last year during the holidays, Real Simple operated a pop-up shop underneath the tree in Rockefeller Center. The store was a success, and now they're coming back, albeit to a different midtown location. Launching in Bryant Park on December 8 and running through December 13, the pop-up will carry over 75 varieties of gifts, including merchandise from the magazine's gift guide.
This time around, it will also offer makeovers courtesy sponsor L'Oréal and free drinks and hand warmers courtesy Citi. And while the schedule of celebrity guest appearances hasn't been finalized, expect at least one big-time food star: On Monday, December 12, Mario Batali will chat with Real Simple editor Kristin van Ogtrop about holiday entertaining.
