The team behind Warby Parker has done everything in their power to make buying glasses online easy, but they're still not averse to stepping off the internet and into the real world once in a while. This Friday, for example, they're launching The Warby Parker Holiday Spectacle Bazaar, a several-months-long pop-up fair in an old garage space in Soho. There, they'll offer prescription glasses and sunglasses (each kind $95 with lenses), plus $50 eye exams, as well as a range of other gifts and seasonal merchandise like customized Yestadt Millinery hats, letterpress stationery, and McSweeney's books and magazines.
You can even choose between buying a Christmas tree, with proceeds benefiting the Delancey Street Foundation, or learning how to cut down your own. Also, because nothing says "holiday" like two yurts, the festivities will be contained within...two yurts. You can even give your loved ones a yurt of their very own, if you've got $10,000 to $12,000 to spare. ("Delivery by yak additional," says the press release. Sure, why not?) The festivities begin this Friday, November 25, and last seven days a week from noon to 8pm through January 8.
