One sure sign that the holidays are approaching: New York City's annual Holiday Market began welcoming customers today in Union Square. The market is designed to mirror the holiday markets in Northern European cities like Copenhagen and Munich, where colorful booths sell holiday gifts from around the world. This holiday season, the market will once again feature handcrafted jewelry, fine art, clothes, handmade ornaments, and toys for kids of all ages.—Katherine Park
