At this year's Canstruction exhibition at the World Financial Center, two different design/architecture firms created giant Alexander McQueen Armadillo shoes out of cans. The shoe on the left was done by Arup, and the shoe on the right was created by Kohn Pederson Fox. The exhibit doubles as a design contest and also as a food drive, so not only are the sculptures pretty mindblowing, but they're for a good cause, too. They'll be on view until November 21st; after that, the cans will be donated to City Harvest.
