Soho sidewalks were slick with rain when we popped into the new Lacoste emporium, freshly opened this past weekend at 541 Broadway. Filled to the gills with sporty looks for guys and gals, this new croc lair has taken over the space where a Footlocker used to be found.
The 5,000-square-foot space shows off the most stupendous stock of Lacoste shoes to be found anywhere in the country. Colorful collections cover every corner, and croc-ed up accessories abound. This move to the middle of the Soho mall is part of the concerted Lacoste effort to touch a new generation and get them preppified.
