Nike is gearing up to open a new concept store in Flatiron: A shop focused entirely on running at 156 Fifth Avenue at 20th Street, the spot that formerly hosted Macy's Bar III pop-up shop. Crain's says that in addition to just selling sneakers, they'll also offer running workshops where customers can try out some of the brand-new merchandise.
But they definitely have their work cut out for them. Nearby neighbors New Balance have a treadmill built into their floor, and they also make some of the sneakers right there in front of you. Fellow running enthusiasts JackRabbit, the Running Company, and Super Runners Shop are also close by.
