WILLIAMSBURG—This Thursday, BKLYN Dry Goods hosts a menswear pop-up at the newish In God We Trust location on Bedford Avenue. The theme is back-to-school—not in terms of sharpened pencils and brand-new notebooks, but in terms of nostalgia for summer vacation. Write the founders, "Think trips upstate, trips cross country & trips abroad & a quintessentially American wardrobe skewed by nods to indigenous cultures & a sense of adventure." Pricing runs from $40 for shirts and flannels to $250 for outerwear, and hours run from 7pm to 10pm. [Racked Inbox]

MIDTOWN EAST—We hear from a recent Uniqlo hire that training and stocking has begun behind the white plywood at the upcoming Fifth Avenue flagship. As early reports promised, the chain has hired a small army—over six hundred employees—in advance of the October 14th opening. [Racked Inbox]
