UPPER EAST SIDE—Tomorrow, French-born shoe designer Paul Mayer will be appearing at his 79th Street boutique to greet customers and conduct personal fittings. Stop by from 2pm to 6pm to pick out custom shoes or just chat with Mayer (which, having interviewed him, we highly recommend; he's exactly as charming as a French-born shoe designer ought to be.) Also, all weekend long, customers can enter to win a year's worth of shoes in the store's Shoe of the Month Giveaway. [Racked Inbox]
MEATPACKING DISTRICT—Tomorrow, Parsons will be hosting the second annual Sisters on the Runway show to benefit Safe Horizon, which provides homes for battered men and women. The event will feature designs by Parsons students as well as a silent auction, a guest speaker, music, and drinks. It's open to the public and runs from 7pm—9pm at Tenjune. Want to see some up-and-coming designers in support of a good cause? Tickets are $30 for students, $50 for general admission, and $100 for a VIP pass, and can be purchased here. The organization hopes to raise a total of $10,000. [Racked Inbox]
