Polls Are Open: Vote for the NYC Store of the Year

New, 10 comments

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We've got a week in which to determine the best and brightest of New York City retail before the Racked Awards next Tuesday. So it's time to let the voting commence!

Here's how it works: After days of pouring over the archives, weighing the pros and cons, and engaging in heated philosophical debates, the Racked staff has determined five major shopping categories of ten nominees each. Your job is to vote in each category before Monday, October 24. Then, we'll take the top three candidates for each vote and start up again with the debating and the weighing until we've selected exactly one winner per category.

First up: Store of the Year. Which New York City establishment is having the biggest and most exciting 2011? Click on through to champion your favorite, and check back with us throughout the week to vote on Best New Store, Best Men's Store, Sample Sale of the Year, and Most Mindblowing Shoe Selection.

Update: Polls are now closed.
