Farrow & Ball Wallpapered the Outside of their Townhouse

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Wallpaper and paint showroom Farrow & Ball, on the Upper East Side, isn't shy about advertising its services. The company just wrapped its entire four-story building in Lotus, one of its most popular wallpaper patterns. It's a bold look for a business on E. 73rd Street between Park and Lexington, but it's probably also a good way to meet the neighbors; the showroom has only been open for a couple of months.
