TRIBECA—Mystified by the PayPal Shopping Showcase signage on Hudson Street? The PayPal blog sheds a bit of light on the space, explaining that it's a private pop-up for the purpose of showing off their new digital wallet services to merchants and media types. [The PayPal Blog]

SOHO—Tomorrow through Sunday, 477 Broome Street plays host to a bridal pop-up shop for a good cause—two good caues, actually. The BRIDES White Hot Style Shop offers weddings gowns, hair and makeup trials, cake tastings, watches from Tissot, and (per the press release) "wedding-world celebrities."
