Over at 220 Lafayette Street, where Soho meets Nolita, Cosabella has splashed a barely-dressed model across the storefront of their upcoming New York City flagship. The luxury lingerie boutique was set to open on August 1, but that didn't happen. The construction shed recently came down, but the actual date when the doors will open remains a mystery.
What's now on view outside is a bare wall in white, with none of the celebrity underwear promised a few months back. Also absent are the flower-filled window boxes on the upper floors and the big pink bow tie that will top it off. Down at the street, a beauty decked out in a Bellissima soft bra and thong offers a warm welcome to passersby and those looking to steal a meal at Osteria Morini. With all this new Italian style showing up along Lafayette, it looks like little old Petrosino Square is returning to its roots.· Cosabella coverage [Racked]
