Bleecker Puts Its Face On with New M.A.C. Cosmetics Store

Anyone need some lip glass? M.A.C. Cosmetics just quietly opened in the formerly tragically vacant retail nook between Gant and Sunglass Hut on Bleecker Street, and despite the small space, the place looks stocked to the hilt with glosses, lipsticks, compacts and anything else needed to keep the West Village looking pretty.

The secret seems to be their store set-up, which suspends columns and puts half of the products right at eye-level and the other at waist-level; the better to see how deep of a red some Viva Glam shades are, we suppose. On other hand, the layout means that with any more than four customers in the store will make it seem cramped...but popular! The really great news for this M.A.C. is that they're quite a distance away from the nearest Sephora, so tourists will gladly do their impulse beauty buying here.
