Because one more excuse to fawn over shoes is never enough, Brazilian brand Melissa has installed a large variety of their recent collections in the new-ish Nida Boutique on Hudson Street at West 11th Street. It's also in the pop-up spot where, a month or so after they first debuted at Miami's Art Basel, the new Gaetano Pesce x Melissa collaboration can be had...even in a unicorn-y shade of pearlescent baby blue.

We dropped by mainly to spy the new Vivienne Westwood heels, which have these crazy huge buckles resembling ornate picture frames, lending them a vaguely pirate look. If Johnny Depp's Captain Jack Sparrow was a Jill instead, this is what she'd likely be donning on deck. Also worth checking out are the Swarovski crystal-dusted flats, which we always notice Dita Von Teese wearing when it's not 7-inch Christian Louboutin time. And?oh yes?the Melissa at Nida pop-up is stocking the full range of toddler-sized Melissas. Too bad it's already after Christmas.
