SOHO—Next Saturday, Canadian brand Aritzia opens on Broadway in Soho. Our sister site jetted up to Toronto for an Aritzia runway show this weekend and reports what we're in for: "If you've never been to an Aritzia, but are familiar with mainstream contemporary chain retailers in the United States, the best way we can describe the feel of the shop and merchandise is a cross between BCBG, The Limited, Searle, and the fifth floor at the Saks Fifth Avenue flagship in Manhattan—sort of a very welcoming, user-friendly emporium of easy-to-wear, attractive women's apparel." We'll take it! [Racked National]

MEATPACKING DISTRICT—This Wednesday, the Matthew Williamson store hosts a pre-Fashion Week shopping party. From 6pm to 8pm, get 15% off the new collection and 60% off fall/winter pieces. Just don't go expecting to be plied with cupcakes or cocktails: Refreshments will be provided by BluePrintCleanse. [Racked Inbox]
