The Shoe Inn's Warehouse Sale: Not a Sure Thing

December's avalanche of sample sales is behind us, but that doesn't mean there are no specialized discounts left in the city. The Shoe Inn is holding its ginormous annual warehouse sale in the Garment District this week, and yesterday Sample Sally stopped in to check out the goodies. Sadly, while she found thousands of pairs of shoes and boots, she left unimpressed:

I did see DVF and Michael Kors suede knee high boots, Marc by Marc Jacobs ankle boots, Pucci snow boots, See by Chloe, Stuart Weitzman, Via Spiga and Roberto del Carlo leather boots. For me, nothing stood out. The same goes for the shoe selection. All boots range in price from $39.99-$199.99, all shoes are $19.99-$99.99.

The sale runs through Thursday at Gotham Hall (36th and Broadway), and staffers say they'll be restocking daily.
