The battle of the Coveteds—indie fashion blog versus media-insider site of the same name—just keeps heating up. When Jennine Jacob, the owner of four-year-old style site The Coveted, found out about the new closet voyeurism site The Coveted, she hired a lawyer to send them a letter asking them to pick another title. "We would like to resolve this issue amicably and expeditiously," wrote the lawyer. "Given that your project is new, we do not believe that a transition to a new name will be difficult for you." The new Coveted responded with a letter from their own lawyer threatening to sue if Jacobs doesn't stop talking about them. For the moment, Jacobs is still winning the Google war, though—her site is the first result when you search the name. [Racked National]
