Last year, when American Apparel tried to launch its line of nail polish, the company ran into a problem with faulty bottles, which it said were exploding on shelves. Now, AA is suing the Forsythe Cosmetic Group, the Long Island company that made the bottles. According to the lawsuit, Forsythe swindled "tens of thousands of dollars" from Dov and colleagues after they tried to sever the relationship. The suit accuses Forsythe of fraud, product liability, and breach of contract, and asks for over $5 million. [NYP; Previously]
