Walmart might want to put a big box store in Herald Square or near Bloomingdale's in midtown, according to longtime retail broker Benjamin Fox in this video from The Real Deal. Before everyone panics, though, please do note that Fox isn't Walmart's broker, so he's just guessing. In fact, he recently happened to see an internal Walmart memo suggesting that the chain is taking its time about opening in New York, despite the recent publicity push. [The Real Deal]
