What You'll Find at Bergdorf Goodman's 75% Off Sale

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Bergdorf Goodman hit 75% off yesterday, meaning now just about everything in the department store giant is some sort of marked down. While the fifth floor contemporary collections are pretty picked through (read: a bit trashed), we were still able to find some diamonds in the rough. The Phillip Lim rabbit fur trench that was $995 is now $249, and a two-piece camel colored Opening Ceremony coat is down to $419 from $1,040. Skip the tops and most of the denim (the ubiquitous Current/Elliott cargos dominate at $149), but head to the racks stuffed with dresses. The Alexander Wang pinstripe series averages around $200, and our best find—a Madison Marcus cocktail dress—was only 49 bucks.

While the second and third designer floors are a bit more sparse, there's still plenty to peruse through. Highlights include a Jason Wu blue silk number for $569, a Proenza Schouler printed toggle coat for $659, and Marni, Stella McCartney, and Thakoon shifts all ranging from $239 to $359.—Tiffany Yannetta
