No MePa for Kors

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The Shophound worries that Michael Kors might be expanding too fast now that he's snapped up the Kenneth Cole space at Rockefeller Center. "Six boutiques is a lot for one borough, and seven may just be one too many. After all, you can't call it exclusive if you can buy it everywhere." So he'll be glad to know that the Kors camp tells us that despite the rumors, they're not currently in talks for a Meatpacking District store. They're not opposed to the idea, of course—it's just not currently on the table. [The Shophound; RackedWire]
