Michael Kors does not sleep on a deal. Barely six days after Kenneth Cole announced that it would be closing its Rockefeller Center flagship, Kors has snapped up the space. The label didn't even use a broker to lock down the ten-year lease on the two-floor boutique, which occupies an ideal location on Fifth Avenue just across the street from Saks. Kors is on an expansion kick: He recently opened a space on Bleecker Street, and he's rumored to be looking for another spot in the Meatpacking District.
