The Barneys Warehouse Sale is so last week, people. It's time to think about the future, and right now the future looks like a horde of crazed scarf addicts lining up down 33rd Street. Mizhattan reports that this fall's Hermés sale will open to the public on Wednesday, September 22nd and run through Sunday, September 26. In previous years, the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea has hosted the sale, but this time around the honor goes to Soiffer Haskin, the sample sale site on 33rd Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues. Expect up to 70% off scarves, leather goods, and random luxury items like saddles. If the last sale was any indication, you can also expect to see lots of babies and possibly a pregnant line-cutter or two.
