The Reed Krakoff flagship launched today on Madison Avenue between 69th and 70th, marking the first time the president and executive creative director of Coach has had a store with his name on it. This is just the beginning of the Krakoff empire, though. The line, which debuted last February and first hit stores only a few weeks ago, will also be featured in Reed Krakoff stores in Las Vegas and Tokyo.
Both the shop and the collection are made up of mixed textures and high-gloss finishes. For the store, that means lacquered walls, felt furniture, and sleek gunmetal showcases; for the clothes, think shearling sandals and a bag made of leather and gazelle (it's very graceful, obvs.) Check out the newly-launched e-commerce site for more details.
