Soho kitchen store Sur la Table now has an uptown sibling. The shop, which carries everything from cookbooks to cutlery to heavy-duty equipment, opened last Friday on Third Avenue and E. 75th Street. And while it's not necessarily a big deal for the Seattle-based company, which has over 72 branches, it's great news for Upper East Siders. As Madison Avenue Spy explains, the neighborhood's kitchen supply options had previously been limited to "William's Sonoma and, um, Bloomingdales."
