Whoa! Saks Fifth Avenue is all about the boys right now—a rare moment in department store window displays. The shop has set up a welcome window for its newly-stocked collection of Viktor & Rolf menswear. (Can you believe the glasses-printed duvet? We're so blinded by cuteness we can barely see the clothes.)
Heading west, find a window dedicated to Simon Spurr featuring video from the designer's show and a handful of windows starring contemporary lines from the sixth and seventh floors: Rag & Bone, Marc by Marc Jacobs, the usual suspects. Finally, straddling the corner of Fifth Avenue, there are three book-strewn windows celebrating the debut of Michael Bastian's collection for Gant. It's super-preppy, relatively affordable, and allegedly selling well (especially after Bastian's personal appearance at the store last week). And, hey—those copies of Take Ivy in the window? They're a part of a monster giftbag. Spend $350 on Gant by Michael Bastian and take it and a bunch of other loot home, while supplies last.
