Acne's Mystery Guest, Explained

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Mystery solved! The odd, doll-like creature we spotted in Acne's audience is Pandemonia, a London-based artist and fashion writer whose eye-catching inflatable hair and latex bodysuits have been popping up in the background of London's runway shows all week. Her blog offers tons of photos of her sitting in prime front-row seats and some context as to why she dresses as the "embodiment of an ideal", a social commentary on how we all live behind masks. Thanks again to all who spent their time sleuthing the 'net for a latex covered seven-foot-tall fashion week attendee. [Pandemonia; Previously]
