UPPER EAST SIDE—A few more details have emerged about the return of much-loved designer Jane Mayle. Blog A NYer in PDX reports that Mayle's collaboration with Sigerson Morrison will launch in Sigerson's uptown store on Thursday. Expect a focus on apparel, with a small selection of shoes and bags available as well. As for the downtown Mayle pop-up, it should appear sometime next week. [A NYer in PDX]

NEW YORK—Not only are American retailers getting priced out of the city, but they're also sheep. That's the word from a retail panel at the Massey Knakal Multi-family Summit today, where Joseph Sitt of Thor Equities complained that foreign brands are taking over and broker Faith Hope Consolo countered that everyone continues to follow NYC's lead.
