V Magazine Dressed Lady Gaga Up as the Statue of Liberty

The latest issue of fashion magazine V is all about New York City, so naturally the editors got Lady Gaga to pose as Lady Liberty on the cover. She shares that space with Marc Jacobs and a giant letter "V"—the magazine's logo—made of bubblegum by artist Dan Colen. Editor Stephen Gan explains, "Just as the Statue of Liberty was France's gift to America, Gaga is, to us, New York's greatest gift to pop culture and fashion." If you're all Gaga'd out, though, you can always check out the alternate cover, which stars performance artist Marina Abramovic holding up swooning model Tyson Ballou.
