For the Style issue, The New Yorker sits down with the proprietors of Jimmy Au’s, an LA-based designer menswear store catering to men 5'8" and under. They refuse to name any of their celebrity clients (though one explains, "I can’t say, ‘Tom Cruise shops at our store.’ But I can say that his stylist comes") but they do tell the magazine that they're planning to open a New York location soon. Great news for the short-statured among us; bad news for the Brooks Brothers boys' department. [The New Yorker]
