Photog Bait of the Day: Fashion as Costume

Flash bulbs are the drug of choice during New York Fashion Week, for everyone from the models to the editors to the random passers-by outside the shows. Thus, there is much dressing for the camera, hoping that a lens focuses on the flamboyance. Each day during NYFW, we'll bring you the most obvious photog bait, as snapped by us.

Where's Christian Siriano when you really need him to shout his trademark phrase "Hot tranny mess?" It's not a proper day at Fashion Week without a little drag race. Although the typical favorite subjects of street style photographers are doe-eyed fashion ingenues and the drop crotch-wearing set, it seems that there's also a soft spot for the other end of the spectrum.

These two ladies were heading in to see a show at Lincoln Center when the flashbulb flurry caught them in the plaza. They've kinda got that whole good girl/bad girl duo thing going, huh? Regardless, you know every passing editor was wishing they had that waist.
