Two Fridays ago, we took a closer look into the process of readying Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger for her appearance on the Today Show with Joe Zee. Her stylist, Lauren Solomon, chose three ideal outfits and Racked readers chose their favorite.

About 41.5% of readers thought Patti should wear a red Diane von Furstenberg dress with lots of Rodrigo Otazu rhinestone bracelet jewelry. "It seemed like a good choice for Today, but when Patti sat down the dress was too short," Lauren said.

At the last minute Lauren commissioned a custom dress in "a gorgeous blue to really bring out Patti's eyes." They added crystal embellishments to the top of the shoulder and around the waist. It was a bit of the rush, Lauren says, and the dress wasn't finished until hours before it needed to be worn but it turned out perfectly.

Lauren paired the custom dress with a Rodrigo Otazu metallic blue crystal cuff and Shery Shabani's silver and diamond earrings. Patti also wore charcoal platform Louboutins with a peep-toe.

Wouldn't it be nice if Patti could custom make you a man too? What do you think of Patti's final outfit?

UPDATE: Sounds like the whole experience might have been a bit more harrowing than Solomon let on. Audio of Stanger shouting at Solomon has surfaced on TMZ.
