DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN—Parents and gift-giving aunties and uncles can get a jump on holiday shopping when a Toys "R" Us pop-up opens up on Jay Street this month. The seasonal pop-up will fill the empty Sid's Hardware Store location in the hopes of capturing the existing foot traffic. The so-called "seasonal" pop-up will operate through the holiday season and save neighborhood shoppers from the overwhelming Times Square Toys "R" Us experience. [The Brooklyn Paper]
