If you're dying to head to the tents this Fashion Week but are trapped in your midtown office all day instead, here's a way you can get in on the fun without hightailing it to the West Side, only to cab it right back to an urgent meeting.
From September 8th through the 10th, The Union Square Agency will host a pop-up "Fashion Central" inside Grand Central Station's Vanderbilt Hall. Brands like Match.com and Amrita Singh will be participating, and it looks like there will be a ton of our favorite thing: free goodies.
Conair will be taping bad hair day confessions for their website, and the highest user-rated submission will win the entire line of Infiniti by Conair styling products. Silhouette eyewear will also be on hand, giving eyewear makeovers with cosmetic consultations, and some attendees (or lost tourists looking for the 6 train) will win a gift bag with goods from Baby-G watches, Land's End, Solstice, Thompson Hotel Beverly Hills, and more.
Sure, it may not be the real thing, but watching a livestream with your newly glowing skin and bag of fun gifts back in your office will probably be more glamorous than sitting, sweating and teetering in heels in the back of the tent. We think.
