Back in June, when we first got wind of Alexander Wang's plans to open his first brick-and-mortar store, Racked commenters agreed that it would probably go into the old Yohji Yamamoto space at 103 Grand Street. The Thread confirmed that someone had just signed a lease there, though their source wouldn't provide a name, and just this past month we noted new signs of life at the store. But all summer, Alexander Wang's PR has stayed mum on the topic—until now. Vogue just announced that Wang has admitted 103 Grand will be his new home. "It’s a perfect, iconic location, and there is a massive amount of windows," he told the magazine, adding that the store will present "a new perspective on luxury."
