Good news for anyone whose secret Nordstrom shopping fantasies haven't exactly been fulfilled by the Nordstrom Rack in Union Square: Crain's reports that the chain is once again looking to open a full-price location somewhere in Manhattan. Nordstrom has never exactly been shy about setting its sights on New York, but as recently as April, it was reportedly having trouble finding a location big enough to house an entire high-end department store. Now, though, Crain's sources say it has an eye on two different spots, including a Boston Properties building on West 55th Street. "They don't want to be known to New Yorkers as a discounter," a broker told the paper.
