After weeks of controversy, M.A.C. has officially pulled the plug on its makeup collection with Rodarte. The Mexico-themed line came under fire after bloggers pointed out that it's creepy to name a nail polish "Juarez" after the border town best known for its ongoing epidemic of violence against women. M.A.C apologized and promised to donate proceeds to victims of the Juarez crime wave, but apparently that wasn't enough. Though the makeup won't ship, the donations will still go forward.
