A week ago, we hit up Loehmann's in Chelsea just before their closing time, and we were forced away from racks of one of Carine Roitfeld's new favorite brands, Equipment. Well we finally had a chance to return and sadly there is now neither hide nor hair of that Equipment stock. In it's place, Cynthia Steffe, See by Chloe, DKNY, and tons of Theory (per usual).
There were even knee-high leather YSL boots over in the shoe department. Looks like the fall booty is finally dropping in?
If you can handle a $79 DKNY Cozy in butter yellow or a faux-fur trimmed Gryphon winter coat for a fraction of the retail price, then Loehmann's may be worth a visit. We always keep our eyes on it, and thankfully it's better all around than Century 21.
Men: sorry, but there is nothing good downstairs at Loehmann's for you right now other than quite a bit of Coming Soon and Moschino.
