Mini seersucker. Cable-knit polo sweaters for tots. Baby bow ties. Everything currently displayed in the window of Ralph Lauren Children's on Bleecker Street is a study in pint-size prep.
We could go on?don't miss the popped collar on the kid-sized striped blazer, itself embroidered with an RRL crest. Lauren is obviously taking full advantage of the fact that it's both Wimbledon month and the height of the season for summer whites. And no child is left behind.
Would you agree that this is the preppiest window display in all of New York City right now? Keep in mind that this doesn't take into consideration whatever prepster fantasies are currently being acted out in the boutiques of the Hamptons, but dang?somebody call J. McLaughlin (aka the "preppiest store ever") and tell them they've got a new best friend in RL Kids.
