Exciting rumor of the day: Designer Jodi Arnold may open up shop on Atlantic Avenue and Hoyt. The Brownstoner reports the former Jamaican eatery Brawta Café is undergoing renovations to become a clothing boutique, which a tipster says is Jodi Arnold. This rumor totally makes sense as the designer is based in Brooklyn and neighbors on Atlantic Avenue include boutiques Sir, Butter Consignment, Layla and Hollander & Lexer. Jodi Arnold currently has a freestanding store on University Place. The Brownstoner expects that the new shop will be unveiled in the next few weeks, so we'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one.
