The excitement leading up to the July 25 East Harlem Target opening continues as photos and details from the locally-designed collabs by Isabel and Ruben Toledo, artist Steven Burrows and celeb chef Marcus Samuelsson surface. The lines are well-priced as expected, starting at $3.99 for Samuelsson's funky fruit print napkin sets and running to $34.99 for the Toledo-designed red and black single strap one-piece swimsuit. The Ruben Toledo beach towels (priced at $24.99) are a wallet-friendly and functional way to own a piece of art, too. The bright colors and prints, plus the overall quirky, summery fun feel, make all three collections quite cohesive.

Even more exciting is that five-percent of each product's purchase price will go to a Harlem non-profit chosen by each designer: The Toledos chose el Museo del Barrio, Steven Burrows selected The Fund for Public Schools in support of the library at The Young Women's Leadership School of East Harlem and Marcus Samuelsson chose The Fund for Public Schools in support of the library at Harlem PS 180: Hugo Newman. The East River Plaza Target will have the collections first on the July 25 opening, then the lines will roll out to other select Targets and online on August 1.
