Fancy Beauty Products on the Cheap at Space NK

For those with La Mer tastes but Neutrogena budgets, the Space NK sale is just the place for you. Taking place in the Soho boutique, the sale offers 50% to 75% off discontinued and current beauty brands. The British store is known for coveted and cult (i.e. kind of expensive) beauty and cosmetic products for both men and women, so this is a great chance to stock up for yourself and for gifts (hey, they don't need to know it cost $5).

Let's start with a rundown of the brands on deck and of course there's the eponymous Space NK label. Prices start at $5 for a three-piece gift set in the Champaca and Santalrosa scents. The five-piece sets are $10 and the Laughter scent gift set with eau de toilette and body cream is $15.

At 75% off, there's Ina skincare ($15 for night serum, $43.75 for 4-step crystal facial regime kits), Anthousa and Aromatherapy Associates. At 50% off, there's Jurlique (night serum now $37.50), Institut Esthederm (sun sheen cream now $22.50), Lubatti (night cream now $19—cheaper than Olay) and Sheerin O'hko. Sonia Kashuk starts at $1 for fake eyelashes (plus another $1 for the applicator) and most makeup items (lip, eye, face) are $2 or $3. There are a ton of brushes starting at $5 and a brush kit in a hard case for $12.

Can't make it to the Dyptique sale? There are candles here, too, with Space NK in blue hyacinth, tobacco leaf and tarragon flower scents marked down to $22.50 for a large size. The Dayna Decker scented candles in Ella, Leila, Bardou, Clementine and Sierra scents are marked to $27 for the large size and $16 for the small.

There are also some men's products in the back at 50% off, including Menscience (deep pore cleansing clay now $11) and Anthony Logistics. We also found Space NK men's fragrance at $37.50 hidden in the gift sets, .

Cash and credit are accepted, and to save you the trouble of calculating the discounts, there are handy charts all over the store. Staffers are very helpful and are passing out large shopping bags to tote your goods around the store. The sale is only taking place at the Greene Street location (not the UWS), so head downtown to grab the best deals.
