Milly, known for its laid back femininity and vintage-inspired whimsical prints, is set to open shop on Madison Avenue between 72nd and 73rd street, filling a storefront left empty three years ago by a pre-bankruptcy Sharper Image.
Having previously only offered its line in department stores and boutiques around Manhattan, the Upper East Side store will be the brand's second, with Tokyo's flagship shop having opened last year. As for if any massage chairs or funky gizmos have left behind from the previous tenant, time will only tell.—Carlye Wisel
